Walk Policies
The basics:
I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
If a client cancels a walk with less than 24 hours notice, the client must pay full price for the scheduled walk.
Walks canceled more than 24 hours in advance may will be rescheduled within 2-3 days (depending on walker availability).
I do expect and appreciate a phone call (in addition to an email) if a client needs to cancel a walk with less than 24 hours notice.
The 24 hour cancellation policy includes any and all reasons (illness, car problems, etc.)
Payment for regularly scheduled daily and weekly walks should be made PRIOR TO, but, absolutely NO LATER THAN the first of each month.
After the first of the month, fees not paid are considered late and is subject to a $10 late fee (compounded weekly).
Walking fees are non-refundable.
New clients are required to have a "screening" interview prior to the first walk. This allows me to meet and assess your dog's potential for joining my pack and working together regularly. It also affords us the opportunity to discuss and sign a health waiver, liability waiver and walking contract. Additionally, all dog owners are required to provide a current immunization record for their dog at the screening interview.
